What program are you doing?

Where was orientation?
A general orientation took place at Korea University in Jochiwon for about 3 weeks. I spent the 4th week of regional orientation in Gwangju, then relocated to the province that I was placed in, Jeollanam-do (or Jeonnam).

What grades are you teaching?
I am teaching elementary school-aged kids at all grade levels. 3 hours per day, Monday-Friday, after school programming.

Are you living in a homestay?
No, I live in a one room apartment in a small city called Mokpo.

How long are you going to be in Korea?
1 year

Are you still a vegetarian / pescatarian?
Yes. However, I will bend the rules once or twice to try authentic foods that I will not have the opportunity to try anywhere else.

Are you Korean?
Nope. I am full Chinese, and I only speak English (and a wee bit of Spanish). Sorry!

Will you be finding a husband in Korea?
Only if he is at least 90 years old and a rich oil tycoon. (Kidding)
